Community engagement is a core focus for the Springfield 2051 initiative, a 15-month community-building program that will create a strategic roadmap for the future of Springfield.

“Springfield 2051 is a project where our past and future meet,” says Marta Wojcik, Westcott executive director &  curator, and a steering committee member. “Our active participation creates a pivotal opportunity to use the  lessons and experiences from the past – both good and bad – as a fuel for a bold new trajectory for Springfield.”

So far, over 750 people have weighed in via the community survey. According to the press release, the results are an essential part of the data collection process. The survey can be completed online, anytime before October 30.
