In observance of Earth Day, members of the Springfield High School (SHS) National Honor Society filled up several garbage bags by collecting litter around the SHS front
entrance, athletic fields, and the Health Center at the Springfield High campus.

SHS students in the Environmental Science, Advanced Placement Biology, and
International Baccalaureate Biology classes also picked up debris in an area known as the ‘Land Lab’ located at the back of the school.
