Women comfort, nurture, and counsel. They also lead, influence, advocate, and collaborate. Every day, women make crucial decisions which shape their communities and the world.
Are you aware of Springfield's Women's Partnership Fund? According to the organization's leadership, it is an affiliate of the Springfield Foundation, and was established to address the continuing barriers girls and women encounter in pursuit of achieving their goals.
Through the strength and structure of the Foundation's endowment, the Women’s Partnership Fund created a
permanent source of funding for programs which address many of the most pressing challenges women encounter today.
As the partnership's Chairperson Dulce Hurst says, “By celebrating those who do great things, we hold them up as role models, inspiring others to strive for excellence.”
As Nominating Commitee Chairperson Susan Carey, explains, "The Women’s Partnership Fund believes that women deserve recognition for their successes and takes pride in honoring those who inspire other women and girls to reach their full potential."
Nominees must reside in Clark County, Ohio, and be at least 21 years old.
