Art Noire: A Declaration of Expression Brian Traylor
Art Noire: A Declaration of Expression was the second in an annual series of installation events to debut at the
Springfield Museum of Art.
“The whole purpose of Art Noire is to develop a space where black people can celebrate black history and black excellence and celebrate in a way black people enjoy to celebrate,” says Dorian Hunter, who dubbed himself the chief vibe officer of the event.
Through our partners at
Hatch New Media, you can take a look inside the event to not only get a look at the artwork but also get a taste of the community and fellowship celebrated through the event, which was specifically made with black people and black culture in mind.
