Second Harvest Dessert Auction Fundraiser

Second Harvest Food Bank is hosting its annual Dessert Auction fundraiser, an evening of delicious desserts, lively bidding, and critical support for neighbors facing hunger this holiday season. The event takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Mother Stewart's Brewing in Springfield. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the live auction begins at 5:30 p.m.

“We are incredibly grateful to our community for their outstanding support of this fundraiser over the years,” said Jennifer Brunner, Development Director of Second Harvest Food Bank. “This event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of Mother Stewart’s Brewing in sharing their space with us and the exceptional talents of Curtis Mumma as our auctioneer.”

The fundraiser will feature 30 decadent desserts prepared by local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community-minded individuals. Each dessert will be available to the highest bidder in a friendly and competitive auction. For those who prefer an immediate sweet fix, a grab-and-go table of treats will be available for just $20 each.

All proceeds from the Dessert Auction directly support Second Harvest Food Bank’s mission of providing nourishing food to individuals and families facing hunger in our community.

“This event is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season while making a meaningful impact,” said Allie Godrey, Marketing and Events Specialist of Second Harvest Food Bank. “We are incredibly grateful for the community’s generosity and enthusiasm year after year.”
